Given my name and avatar you could probably guess that I'm a fan. The 1954 is one of my all time favorites and I enjoy many of the other films as well, even many of the bad ones I consider to be a fun watch so I'm going to vote a 5.
This is a pretty good vid for anyone who hasn't seen much Godzilla but has any interest.
and likely no one will watch almost two hours of Godzilla reviews but I will also share this anyway.
If you have access to HBO Max, many of the Showa era titles(1954-1975) are in the Turner Classic Movies section.
I will try to remember to come back to this thread and have a few words about some specific movies sometime this week.

What a coincidence. funny thing is I'm actually watching them right now. Watching GODZILLA VS. MEGAGUIRUS at the moment and watched Godzilla 2000 last week. huge Godzilla fan and love most of original Japanese films but not a fan of the Hollywood ones.
My favourites are pretty much all the movies in the second series(1985-1995) but the third series is pretty solid as well.

Confession time: I have never watched any of the films. The only Godzilla film I'm really interested in seeing is Godzilla Vs The Smog Monster.

Maybe divide it by era´s? I have only seen three though. The three american ones. I am planning to watch all of them.
