I haven't seen this movie in a loooooooooooooooong time. I have to rewatch it. I don't even recall if it is good or bad!

This seems like a worthy movie for being discussed on the Pub. It's been some time since we've had a movie like this discussed here. Doesn't seem like it's streaming anywhere though.
EDIT: I've scoured the internet and the database in my library, apparently Timecop is just one of those movies that are seemingly impossible to watch for free legally.

I haven't seen it in a while, but it was a great Van Damme movie at the time. Probably one of his better efforts.
Ron Silver is a good villain and Mia Sara is a +.

Excellent choice. I am going to watch it because it has been forever. It has been so long that I'm not even certain if I watched it already. I do like the Super Nintendo game, and I'm sure I will enjoy the movie too.

I watched this the other night for the first time in a decade or so and it's a solid Van Damme flick. It has kicks, tits, and a few stupid one-liners. Just what you want out of an early 90s action movie. I totally forgot that the movie was based off a comic and also spawned a sequel and TV series. I haven't seen any of that stuff. It's amusing how criminals are abusing time travel left and right in this and it's 2004.

The movie is up on Tubi TV now for anyone who's interested in watching it. I found the movie kind of disappointing as I'd much rather be watching other time traveling movies like Demolition Man, Terminator or Back to the Future. Here's my review:
"I was really in the mood for watching a classic action movie starring some kind of action hero, and what better candidate than watching Timecop, Jean Claude Van Damme's highest grossing movie? Unfortunately, this movie turned out to be rather uninspiring and lackluster. How can an action movie about time traveling be so boring? Instead of fighting robots or getting your parents back to together, Timecop is about tracking down corporate men trying to become rich of altering the past. The action is subpar compared to most famous action movies from the the previous 40 years. Van Damme is not even that good in it. The film does not run that long, and there a lot worse movies out there, but for being a certified cult classic, I really expected it to be more entertaining." 2.5/5

That's good news because I haven't seen the movie yet, and I'm not sure if I ever watched it before.
I think I haven't because I would remember something. The Super Nintendo game is solid though.
Your review reminds me of this unsolved mystery, LOL!:

It’s got Van Damme, so you know it’s got some sweet karate. He does the splits, which rules. Also it has Mia Sara’s side boob, which is awesome. And the bad guys melt at the end. This is a clear 5/5.

Oh man, can I ever be right? To be fair, once in a blue moon you can surprise me but you were pretty “on brand” here. I’m sorry but Timecop rules.
