Yeah it sold almost 8 million copies world wide. It's the same thing with N64 titles; the most sold are also the most sought after --> price jump. The worst example of this is Smash Melee. That game, with over 7 million copies sold, is 60 plus. Yeah I know! I tried to get my friend that game for Christmas and it was not possible to get it in price range. |

The original release of Bayonetta 2 is over $100 for no real reason except that the new edition doesn't include the original. I also hate the fact that Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii has been scalped for well over $100 in the US. Scalpers piss me off to no end...

Hot damn is this thread relevant to 2020. Everything is overpriced right now thanks to COVID. I remember the dream that my son and I would one day search the flea markets and garage sales to buy SNES and N64 games to start a collection. Those days are long gone.

In one way this market is goid in that there has been so much support for retro video games as now, but in another way, it's never been so expensive either. |

I actually would sell my physical Wii library, but if I wouldn't get a fair price for it I would rather keep it for decades because I love it so much even though I already played every game in it. I actually wouldn't sell it by parts, it would have to be all or nothing. Most likely I will keep it since I don't even know how to go about selling something like that online.
