Got it too, does this mean you need to have the stuff on the HD or can you have access to it if you don't? |

Yeah, just saw that. Haven't bought a PS3, PSP or Vita game digitally in some time so I don't think it will be too impacting....however.
I actually thought they had discontinued PSP store functionality some time ago (and that legitimate PSP purchases would need to be downloaded on the PS3 or PC before being transferred), but I guess that wasn't the case.
I do remember that the last time I loaded up the Playstation Store on the PS3, it was barely functional, as it was the same interface that was being used on the PS4. It would be nice for PS3 users if they got a more streamlined interface out of this. (I miss the original PS3 store interface). The Vita storefront runs fine, with the exception that a few of the games that run on the Vita (I think Suikoden II was one of them) don't show up in the store for download...but would download properly if you went to the website, and set it to download on your Vita.

Apparently you can still buy and download directly from the consoles just not from the Internet. Back in the day I can be out, buy a game for my PS3 on my phone, and have my PS3 download it while I'm away, so by the time I come back it was ready to go. You won't be able to do that anymore. |
