Watch the trailer and Cinemassacre's video. How is this not the greatest thing ever?

I forgot to actually post my thought on this movie in more details as I've been kind of busy lately, but whatever. House is one of the wackiest movies you'll ever watch and it's entertaining as hell all the way through. Nothing makes that much sense, but it has got a nightmare style to it, so expect surrealistic and even downright absurd moments, but it all fits every nicely together. It's one of my all time favorite movies and I watched it last year. This was my review from then:
"House is truly unique and special. Its genre is horror, but if you are simply looking for a horror film, you will be sorely disappointed, because House is so much more than just a horror film. To like it, I think you have to have a taste for experimental films, because House is a feature length experimental film with coherent story, which is something most experimental films lack. House is just as genius as it is crazy. I absolutely love crazy and zany experimental effects in films, but they are almost never found in feature length films, but here is House and it has everything. Practical effects, bluescreen shots, low-fi shots, low frame-rate editing, slow motion, you name it and House has got it. The film starts off super wholesome and weird, and it is just the best. And then it devolves into madness, which is even better. Can you tell I like this? I freaking love it. One of my all time favorites!" 5/5
This movie is kind of hard to find streaming, but since Criterion has released it, I'm sure you find it on the Criterion Channel. Anyways, this is one to watch regardless of the time of year.

I saw this movie on TCM a few years ago. I don't think I liked it as much as Balder did and found some of the scenes to be overly stupid but still enjoyed the movie as a whole. Based off my memory from watching it three years ago I think I'd give it a 4/5.

It's an experience at least, and it's up to people to decide whether that experience is great or not.
