I have so many flash games saved on my phone, but I never really play them.
However I use an app called Webgenie that plays them without having to use the browser.

Cool thread. Even though I despise flash animation with a red hot burning passion, I used to binge play flash games on my mum's computer and at the library as a kid whenever I was bored. Most of them were disposable time wasters, but at least two I still recall fondly for their replay-value: Madness Interactive and Swords and Sandals 2: Gladiator. The former was a spin-off game of the popular Newgrounds series, and the latter was a turn-based arena RPG. Both were pretty fun and I wouldn't mind playing them again. It's good that efforts are being made to preserve games like these. Now that I think of it, flash games were basically the precursor to indie games. No wonder I've never been that into indie games.  |

I've noticed that many flash applications on websites are powered by adobe flash, such as the avatar generator on this forum. I just got the message from google chrome today while tweaking my avatar that after December 2020 all adobe flash apps will be shut down. Does this mean I'll have to find a new avatar? D:
