It is only 21 days until Christmas. I know that covid-19 is roaming the world, but do you guys have any plans for the Christmas or any traditions you usually do every year that you hope you'll be able to do this year as well?

The current plans are playing Trine 4 with my wife and to choose something nice to watch (or just watch The Thing again, we never get tired of that). The tradition here is to play a coop game, watch an horror movie and put a Santa hat over an Alien action figure that we have here (I'll send you guys a picture of this last one). Hopefully things stay cool during the time between Christmas and New Year's. We usually hold a couple of LAN parties in those days, and hopefully we can make them work. Also, it's been forever since I was at a really great party. I've been to a couple of lowkey this semester, but nothing to write home about. This semester has really been twisting the knife in me in terms of workload, and that means I sorely need some time to relax and have fun. I don't know what I'll do if New Year's out this year.

I know you got laid off when Corona hit, but are you back on the saddle now with a new job or the old one? Old job came back. I’m in a pretty specialized field with specialized training so I wasn’t worried about not finding work, but it was pretty stressful for a few weeks with everyone getting laid off at the same time so getting benefits was tough. |

What constitutes for crappy food in this situation? In Norway that would mean Grandiosa, a frozen pizza that is basically a Christmas food staple now Although I've never eaten frozen pizza on Christmas (which would be the 24th of December over here), I do see the appeal. Okay, picture this: after waking up on Christmas, nothing really starts to happen before the middle of the day. You lay on the couch and watch Christmas specials and shit. What are you going to have for breakfast? A boring old slice of bread won't do on Christmas. Pop that sucker into the oven and enjoy the crappiness of a frozen pizza.

When I was a kid, Christmas started at 5am because i wanted to get at that shit. Now a days, you’d be lucky if one up before 10am and I’m probably not leaving the house because I couldn’t give a shit about Christmas now a days. and maybe you Swedish meatballs would have a greater appreciation for frozen pizza if you had good frozen pizza, like a Totino’s Party Pizza. |

What constitutes for crappy food in this situation? Basically anything cheap that may contain soy, HFCS, MSG, Nitrites, Nitrates, hidrogenated oil, BHT, ADA, BVO, BHA, etc.. And a lot of eggnog because it is my favorite drink in the world, and the government only allows me to drink it on Christmas. |
