I had many of the line of toys from this movie. I think I saw it, but I don't remember it. I hope they release the trilogy remastered in 4K HDR10, and Dolby Atmos. They have been doing it with a lot of classics.

This movie's on Netflix Canada if you've got a VPN. I do, I'm going to hook the PC to the projector just for these. They have the entire Trilogy.

I absolutely hate this movie. It ruined the original series. I could rant forever about it, but the AVGN guys covered it perfectly. On a side note, we have the Blu-Ray set, and it is absolutely sad. The movies look like they copied them off of the VHS and put them on the disc without any enhancements. I don't know how they got away with that. I know Balder would be enraged.

Balder doesn't care about that kind of stuff from what I can tell, he can watch a movie on Vimeo, on his phone, on mono, on 240p, without complaints. I'm usually the one always worrying about those irrelevant technicalities. That VHS thing sounds horrible. I really hope they will restore these movies because of the significance they had over so many kids of our generation. The third movie may not be good, I don't know, I haven't seen it myself for a while, but I still want it, LOL! What I like most is how the Turtles look. That look was always cool to me.

I'm obviously in the minority but I really liked this movie, even more than the second one. I really liked the whole kapa legend of the turtle spirits that was foretold who would come and bring destruction and chaos, but they bought peace and fought off the enemy instead. Turtles in Time the Movie 7/10.

Yes, it was terrible! IT's like they took a plot from the cartoon and adapted it into a movie. The plot made no sense. The animatronics were downgraded. Splinter was stiff has heck, the turtles talked way too fast and way too much. Any mystique they had in 1 and 2 was completely thrown out. Oh, and the costumes were downgraded as well!

Don't act like you're the only connoisseur of quality movies here. You watch movies digitally for the most part, so don't act like you only going for top quality when you're not even going physically. I watch so many movies a year, I can't watch them all on BD. I do watch a lot of movies on BD, but for movies I know I'm only going to watch once or that I don't care to collect, watching them online is going to be fine for me. If I think I'm going to love the movie, I always get it on BD. And if I do watch the movie online and end up loving it, I buy it too. Like I did with Interstella 5555. dschult3 it's a shame man that it's not mastered in HD and just put on a disc for a quick buck. It's a real pressed disc right? Like it's not black instead of blueish silver?

I don't buy HD movies digitally, they usually don't have Atmos, and the UHD versions look so much better. So if I buy digitally they at least have to be UHD or 3D.
I'm very picky about that stuff, specially sound. They sell some movies on stereo, and I always pass on those, they have to be at least 5.1.

Well then, you're kind of wasting your money on a lot of these UHD movies since most of them aren't even 4K. Most of them are just 2K, which is barely better than HD.
I don't think you should use these false dichotomies when discussing. People can enjoy movies on all kinds of formats even though they care about quality, and someone who don't care about quality sometimes catches a movie on a good format. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Yeah, I have the physical version of many of those movies. That's how I started with digital, by entering the codes from the physical copies.
Physical is better because if your Internet crashes you don't lose to see the movie, but the difference in quality is not very noticeable if you have a decent Internet. I personally don't notice it.
That's why I don't get 1080p movies, like regular Blu-Ray because the movie theaters have always been 2K, so for me if I'm going to buy they have to be at least 2K.
The only 1080p ones I buy are the ones on 3D because those that's my favorite movie experience format. I'm a hardcore fan of 3D, it is simply glorious. It makes movies that I probably wouldn't like that much, really enjoyable, and 1080p on 3D looks better than 4K anyway.
But like I said in another thread, I know you can enjoy movies in low quality. Back in the day I used to have a tiny DVD player, one of those that come with a 10 inches screen, I used my headphones, and had a blast.
My local library allowed me to take out DVDs for free, so I watched a lot of good movies that way in those days. I also have enjoyed a lot of movies on planes, and everybody knows how that is.
What happens is that now I'm older and I have a giant 120 inches screen with a full sound system of Klipsch speakers, and if I can get better, why not right?
But I think anybody can enjoy a movie on the phone and have fun, heck I had a friend back in the day that used to buy movies for his PSP and had a blast doing that, and it is perfectly fine.
If you think I'm criticising that's the opposite of what I'm doing.
For example I believe Hong Kong martial arts movies are more enjoyable on VHS on a CRT, but that's just me.
