What people forget is that many of the western arcade games were in fact better in the Super Nintendo than in the Genesis.
The reason why there is a misconception is because of MK1, in MK1 on the Genesis had blood, but the Super Nintendo version didn't, instead they had exclusive fatalities that the Genesis didn't.
That's such a small nit pick because every other MK game, like MKII, MK3, UMK3, NBA Jam, Total Carnage, Killer Instinct, Smash T.V., etc., were in my opinion better in the Super Nintendo, you can even see it at first glance.
Many of those were not even released on the Genesis at all.
However that wasn't the Genesis' fault. The Genesis came out earlier, so the super Nintendo had more time to become more future proof than the Genesis initially did.
With the 32X and the Sega CD, the Genesis fixed all those problems, and they were real problems, if they weren't real problems, the 32X and the Sega CD wouldn't even have been necessary in the first place, but they kind of were.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Genesis, but I also want to be fair because I hear those misunderstandings all the time.
