Hello everyone! This is my first post here. I'm curious about whether anyone here is still playing the original Animal Crossing for gamecube.. and if they still play the NES games, and how to collect them all. I've still been struggling to collect them all.
I also play the Animal Crossing for 3DS and I'm curious about whether you prefer this edition, older ones, or the newest one for switch.

I am not an Animal Crossing player, but I'd like to welcome you to the forum! Are you a collector?

I played the GameCube one a bit on a friend's console back in the day, but never owned it myself. I also had the DS edition, which was fun as a lot of people in my workplace had DS's at the time, so visiting villages was easy. Haven't played the Wii, 3DS or Switch editions though.

I bought nearly all the games when they were released, but for some reason I sold the Wild World game to either Target or GameStop (yeah they are kinda shady) and now I'm making sure I never do anything stupid again like selling off old games, cause I do think that Animal Crossing has immense replay value, which is something I didn't value when I was younger.

Do you still play the DS version or is just collecting dust?

True, there are always roms. But it looks like copies of Animal Crossing Wild World aren't too expensive over on ebay. $10-15 range.

I my self have never played an Animal crossing. It is on my Gamecube list of games I need to buy and I did order the one for the Wii which never showed up.
Not my kind of game but considering it's a huge Nintendo franchise i'm guessing they put a Nintendo spin to the simulation that I might find enjoyable.
Might pick it up one day.

Yeah the bad part about Animal Crossing for gamecube is that to experience everything, you are gonna need a GameBoy Advance link cable and a GBA as well, at least to go to the Island. I guess you can get around that on PC emulation.

I'm not sure how much the pc allows for gc to gba connectivity.
There's definitely a few games like four swords adventures and animal crossing that have their functions locked in that setup.
