I'm going to open with my review of this movie from last time I watched it, which was in 2017:
"Mad Max The Road Warrior is the perfect sequel. It is almost unimaginable how great it turned out and the universe it made. So many games and films have been inspired by it. I love the Mad Max universe, and I thank this movie for basically creating it singlehandedly. It is a little dated here and there, but ultimately it still is great. Fury Road perfected it, but it owes all its respect to this. Also, I think this version of the Special Pursuit V8 Interceptor is the coolest one. Love that thing!" 4.5/5
This movie is so damn good. The first movie was very little known so they marketed this movie as its own thing, The Road Warrior. I wish Beyond the Thunder Dome had turned out great so we could have gotten more of these movies, but I'm not complaining since we got Fury Road much later anyways. Now if Warner Brothers only could pay George Miller what he is due so that we can have Mad Max: The Wasteland.

The first movie is fairly easy to find on 4K HDR, which is a very good quality package, but this one I don't even know if it has a remaster, it definitely should because we want all the movies on the collection.

Nothing says "fun" like seeing a bunch of muscle cars and dune buggies trashing up the beautiful australian outback, right?
...yeah, I think I'll pass on this Mel Gibson garbage flick. If I want a good australian flick, I'll just watch The Rabbit Proof Fence again.
