Just finished it and it was one of the best games I've exer experienced. I'd had a couple of goes prior to today's session and there was some random person (I don't think it was ai?) along with me today and we did it. The music, the style of graphics and art and the gameplay. I'm literally say here like "what the fuck, that was immense!" Excuse the rambling nature of this post, but I've never experienced the sensations and feelings this game has produced inside me.

Perhaps one day they'll release a version that doesn't require PSN so I can try it too, that'd be nice, I'd like that.
Seeing as the game is 100% playable from start to finish (from what I've heard, at least), you just need to log in when you start up the game and then you can play the rest offline.
So yeah, literally all they had to do was remove the initial login part and release that version on disc and I would've bought it, and probably liked it too.
Too bad that'll never happen and I'll never get to play this game because of that one dumb and completely unnecessary decision. It's one of the biggest bonehead moves in modern gaming history.

What's the difficulty or aversiveness about simply logging in to PSN? Although, I admit I personally don't care for games where having to play with someone else is mandatory either. Part of the reason I stayed away. I do have the 3 game disc compilation though (as yet unopened).

I don't have PSN and after everything Sony's done over the last decade with PSN and their consoles in relation to PSN with firmware updates etc. they've only managed to scare me away for good. I'm never setting a digital foot on their online land.
