Nice selection, personally I'm a massive super fan of the glasses free 3D effect, that's why I would recommend going for the New 3DS XL.

Actually, I have these periods where I fight temptation to buy something I don't need. First, it was a Wii U, now it's a 2DS. Although I wouldn't mind another Color title for my Game Boy. Oh, and I have PSP games I bought before the store went down. I'm having trouble as I need to: 1- Find someone with a Playstation 3 or 2- Find someone who hasn't switched over to the NBN, which requires a totally new router with a wi-fi signal that's incompatible with the PSP. If I did get a 2DS, I'd rather get something other that blue. If not I'd have to repaint it myself, if I can get paint that won't eat away at the plastic like acid. And, to be honest, I'm kind of bored with Teddy's content. He loves his Dragon Quest stuff, but I couldn't care less about it. |

I hate to say this because I do love the Wii U, but if I had to choose between the Wii U, and a New 3DS XL, I would definitely go for the New 3DS XL.
3D World is coming up for the Switch, and now I can say that this is the first time the new Nintendo console completely overshadows the previous one.
Honestly, and including the N64, anything with cartridges is always better than anything with discs, but that's just my personal preference.

I believe if you're on PSP 6.61 firmware, you can still download from the PSN on it, but as you said, it isn't compatible with current wifi router security standards. Now that said... There are a few relatively easy ways around this, if you still want to download them legitimately. 1. Turn off security on your wifi router entirely for a short time. Make sure your PSP is the only device connected to the router (since this will be creating an intentional security hole) long enough for you to download what you want, then turn your normal security back on. 2. Do much the same with your phone as a temporary hotspot with the security turned off. Downside with this of course, is that it uses your cell data, which is probably capped. (I've done this when downloading game covers on my modded Wii, as my current router only does WPA-2, which doesn't work with the Wii, but in those cases it is only a few MBs). ------------ Honestly though, given the hassles in getting those downloads, this is one of those cases where, even if someone is quite anti-piracy, I would suggest just soft-modding the PSP and getting ISOs of the games you've legitimately purchased. |
