What do you guys think of Dung-Brain DeMuro? He's an all-american auto-critic who runs a popular Youtube channel, where he does his trademark shtick.
What do you guys think of him? How does he compare to other american auto-critics? Please discuss.

He reminds me of several guys I used to work with which is why when I saw his videos for the first time I end up checking quite a few of his videos at once, his reviews are quite detailed about the little things only enthusiasts care about cars, I'm subscribed, but I don't really watch his videos because with the exception of Mark's stuff which was always good, watching reviews can get old after a while. I have to be in the mood to watch stuff like that.

He sometimes reviews cars that the average joe has no chance in hell of ever affording. All those high end super cars are exclusive for the millionaires or the really rich. Actually now that I think about it cars nowadays are so dang expensive. It's probably because of all that tech crap in them. They are also impossible to do your own work on unless you have special tools. Honestly a lot of todays cars are throw away cars but I still bet 90's cars will outlast them all.

Dung-Brain DeMuro is the quintessential mega-rich american clown. People like him and Trump are the kind of assholes who wouldn't last a week in a third world country.
Dung-Brain DeMuro and Consumer Reports are two reasons why we americans can't have slow, tiny cars. These american nationalist assholes have already run Suzuki, Daihatsu, Fiat and Smart out of business here in the states, and now they're going after Mitsubishi, too. As an environmentalist who advocates for microcars, I say we NEED to keep these japanese & european car companies around here in the states or else we will never make any progress towards downsizing our overall automotive fleet to microcar size.
I'm glad I'm around to fight off the baseless allegations of these all-american upper-class assholes.

Smart electric cars are not even safe: Correction: oversized shit like Teslas are not safe. That's a Tesla for you. Teslas are all oversized, dangerously fast pieces of shit with absolute junk build quality, typical american car. You hear tons of issues about Teslas phantom braking all the time in the news, and other problems like phantom acceleration like in that video you posted there. No wonder they're such a liability in a country like China, where there are tons of smaller, safer city cars and auto rickshaws being driven around everywhere, which obviously can't withstand the impact of a speeding 5,000 lbs Tesla. This is why we need to ban all oversized garbage like Teslas: to make the roads a safer place. |
