This is truly fascinating. Now, it says that Dan E. Kool is the moderator of this forum marked "General Discussion." Dan E. Kool, is this sort of behavior allowed due to pity or for some other reason? I have been on multiple forums over the years, and usually an account like this is generally suspended or deleted. The posts by this individual are mostly of the antagonizing sort, but most of the forum members seem to put up with it. This angry rage seems to continue, although the majority seem to not care for it. Is this an ongoing forum joke? Is this an alt/fake account used to create further conversations? I truly would like to know so I may know how to observe the one who has spent years attempting to irritate others on this forum about classic games. |

Remember the time when we were mostly a video game forum? That's hilarious coming from an arrogant troll like you. The real reason nobody talks about games here anymore is because you abused your power as moderator by turning the weekly game discussion series into a mockery as a cheap attempt at trying to troll me. Nobody wants a know-nothing, no-talent casual clown in charge of moderating gaming forum discussions. That's why I dropped support for your stupid-ass threads in favor of Armored Core's excellent Handheld Wars series. I will continue supporting his series because he is a venerable gamer and an all-around great dude who doesn't bullshit anyone or whine about certain genres being "unfair". So yeah, you being the most active poster is all the proof anyone needs as to what drove other longtime members away. None of us are to blame, contrary to what you're suggesting. Maybe you should make yourself useful by cleaning out any alt-accounts and troll accounts like this other guy who joined less than a day ago? |

What people do is experience stuff that they want to discuss, hence discussing a plethora of topics here among friends and other users like you. You can bounce on Armored Core Raven's dick all you want, but I doubt he'd go heads over heels for you (don't worry Armored Core Raven , you're still a cool dude even though the grease monk likes/tolerates you). Also, don't drive away new users the first day they show up, but in Dunning Kruger's case, continue by all means as it seems like he came to see you act out. Whatever dude, there's nothing I can say that would change your mind about anything anyways, so why even bother. This forum is much more organized than the others I have been to, and there seems to be quite a history that goes back to the original CGR website. It would seem that the forum ceased to grow after a while, like many other forums do, so it became its own internal ecosystem. There seems to be quite a bit of pride in this forum's ecosystem as well, but I can tell that new faces aren't joining, or staying around, for one reason or another. What a pity, because most of the posts that are not antagonistic are lighthearted, interesting, and fun. |
