Did you finance with an Adjustable Rate Mortgage? I could see that hurting. |

Hey, I've been absent a lot here during the past year. I'll try to make an update soon. It's been kind of rough economically as interest rates are constantly increasing, however, it has stabilized recently. My girlfriend is moving in this summer, so changes are coming haha. Did you finance with an Adjustable Rate Mortgage? I could see that hurting. I've had a discussion on this topic on Reddit, and apparently fixed rate mortgages are the standard in the US, however, it is not the case in Europe. Over here, 95 % of people have an adjustable rate mortgage, and right about now, it sucks. In hindsight, it was a blunder, but it is the way of the bank systems here. I have been negotiating with the banks and moved my mortage, which did give me a much better rate than it had grown to. |
