Hey guys I know I asked this before but couldn't find the thread. So I'm looking for a new PC to play MAME on and I remember Windows XP was great and easy to emulate on. Any recommendations outside that?. Is Windows 7/10 better than XP to emulate retro games on?.

I've had no issues with emulation on Windows 7 or Windows 10, but I haven't tinkered around with MAME much at all.

The emulators I was running on XP were 15+ years ago, so I would say the experience had gotten generally better, but that is probably also do to emulators having newer versions, or being replaced entirely, or even that even my little laptop is much more powerful hardware than I was running back then.

No problem Bogard. I know that was pretty minimal, but happy to put in what info I can.
