Will give it a look. I enjoy the gaming historian once in a while, though I find I have to watch him at 1.25 or 1.5 speed. His normal....delivery...is...so...slow.

I watched it last night. It was pretty interesting to learn about the struggles in trying to make it different from SMB 3. (That's favorite in the series.) The game is pretty darn important in Nintendo's history, and I don't really think the Super Nintendo would have originally succeeded the way it did without it. I remember going to Child's World (a now defunct toy store) with my Dad and watching the SMW demo over and over again while thinking about which crappy Tiger handheld to buy with the $20 I scrounged up. The effects looked magical. My parents didn't get the money together to buy it until the next Christmas holiday, but I was forever grateful for it. I played the hell out of that game, and I make my son look like a chump whenever we play it together. It isn't my favorite platformer on the system (Yoshi's Island would take that mantle years later.), but it remains an important piece of my video game story.
