I went and bought some Atari games. Asteroids, Pac-man, space invaders, galaxian, the empire strikes back, yars revenge, and missile command. I still don't have the system to play them on but am looking to try and get one here soon. I've got an old 27 inch Trinitron crt tv to play these older consoles on. I tried to find centipede but I could not find it so that game I still want.
I've grown a bit tired of modern gaming and going back to playing something simple was a really nice change of pace.

People hate Pacman but the sounds are ingrained in some of my earliest memories. Plus they used the sounds for just about every game in TV & movies in the 80s.

Check out Atari Age if you're interested in going all in. They've got you covered when it comes to new games, new accessories, and even some hardware. Their forum is great for helping people out with issues too. |

Yeah, maybe some ports weren't as good, but those Atari consoles are still some of the coolest sounding gaming systems still.
