First time I hear about it. I haven't been following game news much. In many ways E3 was a big event for knowing what's coming. I don't think the Game Awards are a proper substitution for the hype E3 used to make.

There is a fanfare called Sonic Utopia, which featured an open world version of Green Hill Zone. It could almost be a proof of concept for SF.
And from what I've seen, and what I saw of the original teaser for Sonic 06, my brain is telling me that SF is what 06 was originally meant to be.

Anyone seen Sonic Prime on Netflix? No, but my son got Frontiers for Christmas. He loved it, at first, but gets bored with it after 30 minute intervals. He wants to beat it, but it isn't as fun as it probably should be. |

About Frontiers, reviews from people who don't mind some jankiness in their games and have similar tastes to me (like ThorHighHeels) tended to be pretty positive, so it's a game I'm looking forward to play. But I still have to play Sonic Heroes and Colors first - I've bought Heroes last year and Colors was just released on Steam, so I'm more interested in them right now.
