One of my favorite franchises of all time, but I have to admit it all started with Time Crisis II for me, I actually never saw the first game at the arcades, so I don't have any nostalgia for it.
It may be an unpopular opinion, but Virtua Cop are the better games, the first Virtua Cop is still a masterpiece, using a pedal and shield is a genius dynamic, and you can't get enough of these games.
That said, another unpopular opinion is that I actually love Time Crisis more than The House Of The Dead. I love The House Of The Dead too, but Time Crisis speed makes it better to me.
Besides the first one which is still playable, I do love all the Time Crisis games a lot. I have played a lot of Razing Storm too, and the only I haven't had a chance to play is Crisis Zone. The latest installment which is Time Crisis 5 looks gorgeous on those big screens they put them out, so it really surprises me is not in consoles like all the other games in the series were.
I do hope these series make an appearance in VR, but not news of that yet. It's strange because this genre has a mainstream appeal in the VR environment.

Time Crisis 3 seems to be the one that sticks out in my head, for some reason. Maybe it is because there is an arcade version of the game at the local bowling alley. I always had fun with these.
