If you get a Switch I recommend playing one game at the time. Don't buy multiple because it gets overwhelming, and you end up putting it off.

If you get a Switch I recommend playing one game at the time. Don't buy multiple because it gets overwhelming, and you end up putting it off. Probably the reason why I have Death Stranding, Shenmue 3, Nioh, Dark Souls 3, Devil May Cry 5, Yakuza 0, Wonderful 101, all of them great games that I truly want to play and yet haven't played any of them. Buying these games in bulk really gets overwhelming... But *if* I were buying a Switch, centipede, I do have a wishlist: Bayonetta 2&3 Astral Chain Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Link's Awakening and Skyward Sword Metroid Dread Super Mario Odyssey So pretty much exclusives by Platinum and Nintendo. |

I saw Metroid Prime has just got a Switch port. The last time I saw that game in stores was the trilogy for $110 at EBgames.

I was thinking of putting one on lay-by. The big one or the Lite one? The big one will allow two player in the same room, but fat chance of that happening? Hmmm, what do you think?

I have a larger one, and enjoy it hand-held with a grip. If you think you'd be playing it on the TV as well, it's pretty much the only option.
I do know some folks who really like their lite as well, since it's only a bit bigger than the Vita.
I saw up above that you wanted an RTS recommendation. I really liked The DioField Chronicles demo recently, and I know it is on Switch, among other things. Worth a try. But Pikmin 3's a good console-style RTS for the Switch if you see it on sale, and Pikmin 4 is coming in the summer.

If I had to choose I would get the Wii U ports. Those have good Switch versions.

Subnautica has a Switch port now. There's been a markdown of games at EB, but I want to buy a food processor, a rear view camera (I recently backed the Brick into somebody's car!) and a bee hive first. I've been told to wait until mid-year sales for a Switch.

Switch is such a great thing considering Mobile gaming sucks, and sometimes using a TV is inconvenient even in home situations because your wife may be using it, or your mother in law, or the nephew visiting.
