More movies need that wall of TVs aesthetic.

Now then, was this a sequel or a spoof?
The plot was all over the palce. So many themed gremlins and skits. It was so family friendly compared to the first. It was like they were trying to make it more kid friendly , when that wasn't the initial bloody idea I know the director didn't want to do a sequel, but did he sabotage it?

They went from 80's kid-friendly, like ET where they have guns pointed at them, to 90s kid-friendly, like ET where they have walkie talkies pointed at them.

Even though I'm an 80's kid, I've never seen a Gremlins movie. I grew up watching the trailers and looking at the toys. I even had Gremlins game on the Nes. But never watched the movie for some reason.

centipede - It's somewhere between a family-friendly sequel (with some family-unfriendly jokes) and a spoof, isn't it? I like how there are many different creatures this time and how the movie tries to be a live-action Looney Tunes episode; it succeeds in capturing that spirit much more than, let's say, Space Jam. But it's also disappointing how, in going for a spoof of itself, it crashed its own franchise. I don't think there was much more to expand from the first movie anyway, so maybe Joe Dante just tried to have fun with the concept. I think it partially works, but the tone is really all out there, it's a very strange movie overall.
