dschult3 - Impressive stuff! The Portal port looks very achievable, and his explanations, while technical, are very understandable. Now, my major problem with the N64 graphics were always the blurry textures, so that demo makes the N64 look almost one generation ahead. While I think it would not be feasible in the 90s due to cartridges having so little memory (he says the demo is 40MB, which is larger than most N64 games), I can just imagine what may be achieved by homebrews nowadays. Some people are doing outstanding stuff now with the Saturn/N64/PS1 generation, maybe in the future we'll see impressive full games like the ones that get released for the Genesis nowadays. Recently I saw a work-in-progress port of Unreal to the Saturn:
