It's been so long, I forgot how corny this movie got. The dialogue, the 'S' thing being thrown, and when the mob descended on the Thrre, only to be literally blown away, like EVERYTHING. But Superman was never really meant to be taken all that seriously, but something that's a symbol of unstoppable goodness is something that makes you happy.

It's been so long, I forgot how corny this movie got. The dialogue, the 'S' thing being thrown, and when the mob descended on the Thrre, only to be literally blown away, like EVERYTHING. But Superman was never really meant to be taken all that seriously, but something that's a symbol of unstoppable goodness is something that makes you happy. I have always hated 2 for those very reasons. I know I am supposed disconnect myself from reality when watching a super hero movie, but you can only suspend that reality so far, before it becomes stupidity. Then one can make the judgement on whether it is so bad, that it is good to be a guilty pleasure, or if it just plain sucks. 3 is kind of fun. 4 is just laughably idiotic propaganda. This one always fell in the category of annoyingly corny for me.
