I want to get World of zoo, Stranded deep, simpleplanes, Dragon age origins ultimate edition, if my heart had wings and the long dark. My computer can run all these games I did a check on Can I run it. Maybe tales of zesteria too although I dont have a controller for it. Maybe fallout tactics and gta vice city although I am not a vice city fan and I have tried to get into that game so many times now and I just cant. Thats probably the only gta game I dont care for. Also dont like gta 5 either. Probably the most boring gta game I ever freaking played and the online mode that goes with it is just unbelievably bad.

I took a peak at it, and that Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen looks tasty... But I have it on Ps3, so whatever.

So, long story short I added quite a lot of funds to my Steam wallet expecting to get about half of my wishlist cleared with daily deals and whatnot and then it turns out they won't be doing daily/flash deals anymore so fuck me. Therefore I decided to spend that money buying the cheapest games on my wishlist, I ended up getting:
Garry's Mod Arma 2 Ghostbusters: The Videogame FEAR: Ultimate Shooter Edition Sega Classics: Shining Force Sonic CD SEGA Genesis Classics Pack 5 Condemned: Criminal Origins Saints Row IV BattleBlock Theater Blood Riff Racer Party Hard Blood and Bacon Quake Geometry Dash Impossible Creatures ManaCollect Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty Heretic/Hexen Pack
I also plan on getting Disgaea later on but I have to save some pocket change for it next week.

I only got Thief 2, since I could get it just from the wallet money I got selling those useless Steam Cards. It's not that there aren't other interesting games - my wishlist alone has 14 games -, but I have such a huge backlog right now that I will only buy more games on Steam once I clear a few of the ones I already have. I mean, I still haven't played Dark Souls 2 and The Witcher 2; besides, I also just bought a lot of DS/3DS games that I really want to play, and there are also a few awesome Saturn games.
Basically, I'll wait until the Christmas sale to buy more games on Steam.

I've been boycotting Steam ever since I learned about its horrible digital right management. I can't believe I actually supported Steam in the past. I can't even play the games that I bought for it anymore because of the DRM! It's a fucking scam! Seriously.

I bought a few games from the sale, not getting too much. Azure Striker Gunvolt Super Indie Karts Turok I was thinking about Mushihimesama and Deathsmiles but decided to wait until the winter sale for those. I have several shmups on Steam I've barely played and will spend some more time on those first.

No. I've just heard that there are better alternatives to Steam (like Good Ol' Games) that don't have shitty DRM practices.

Yep! So this summer sale did something for me I could never have expected. Lords of Magic: Special Edition (widescreen port). I had no idea this existed, and I had no idea people were still making mods on this game. The important part is that the overworld in this game was too delicate, so the switch between battles and overworld views would often twist it in widescreen monitors, causing terrain to get misplaced, and thus breaking the game.
So I snagged it yesterday, installing it today to remember the old days and enjoy new stuff as apparently modders just kept it up. Yeah! F*** Age of Empires II and Age of Mythology! I honestly don't think you guys will have aged as well as LoM(SE).
For those of you wondering, Lords of Magic is a turn-based strategy game that uses elements from the Settlers series, the difference being that in this setting there are 8 factions based on the 4 basic elements plus 4 social elements (Chaos, Order, Life and Death) and the unplayable marauders. The whole thing took a huge hint from norse creationism nonsense and Tolkien's stories, so each side has its own roster of members, such as Order featuring mainly knights, Chaos mostly barbarians, Life mostly light elves. The cool thing is that it isn't just about combat (and I actually like the fashion of combat here), there's a little bit of diplomacy, resource gathering (without the need to train villagers, btw), and even capturing for interrogation/torturing. Awesome game that's been overlooked since forever.

spidershinobi - I didn't know about it either! I still have my physical copy of the game but haven't tried playing it on any modern OS (I think the last time I played it was on XP), so it's nice to know there's a SE version on Steam.

I ended up buying only one thing. The long dark. It's good its just not finished yet and I just meet the requirements to run it. I wanted to buy this one game but I dont think my computer can run it. I need a new computer is what I need and want but its so much to spend one on thing. I've got something in mind though for my new computer.
Cant wait till amd releases that new card that has the power of a 980ti for only $200. Unless its out already.

Just checked the prices on some of these parts I want for my new computer. The dang processor I want is like $340, the graphics card I want is I think $240 and then I have to buy a case and anything else I need. Ya I dont think this computer is going to get built anytime soon and this is all off newegg too. There's no way I can afford all this right now. Maybe just use amd parts for a budget build instead. I wonder if I could get by with just an i5 processor. Maybe I should have just stuck to console gaming.

In addition to 'Sunless Sea' and 'Elder Sign: Omens' mentioned before, I ended up buying most of the folks on my Steam friends list something from their wishlist that was under $5. Also bought a few people 'Sentinels of the Multiverse' in hope that I can get them into some multiplayer.
