Penny’s Big Breakthrough is a new 3D platformer brought to us by the guys who did the excellent Sonic Mania. While the art style seems a bit of a mess to me (especially the main character itself, such an inelegant silhouette), the gameplay looks cool.
Huh, watching the trailer again, visually it reminds me of Mischief Makers on the N64, which I always find deeply unpleasant to look at.

Mischief Makers? I'm not really getting that vibe. I don't see the decapitated heads everywhere. This looks like it could be fun, knowing who made it. Brrrrr, those visuals are creepy as hell, I'll never understand why Treasure went with that style. I'm getting the vibe mostly from the characters' eyes and "puffy" look. |
