Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a 2D prison-themed game I played on Windows XP back in the early 2000s. The game had a distinctive and somewhat outdated look, with simple graphics and a command prompt window that appeared when launching the game.
Some of the game’s features included:
- A prison theme with dark, shadowy graphics.
- A score menu with images of prison cells.
- A gameplay screen featuring cages and balloons at the end of levels.
Despite my efforts, I haven’t been able to track down this game. I’ve tried various abandonware sites and forums without success. If anyone has any clues or can direct me to where I might find more information, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
[yoyo1990]

yoyo1990 - More information would help: 1. The point of view was top-down, sideview or isometric? 2. Do you remember the genre - was it a shooter, a point & click or something else? Looking around quickly for prison-themed old pc games I've found Dynamite Joe and Fugitive, though they aren't very dark. Some elements in your description remind me of Abuse, but just because it's a dark and gloomy old 2d pc game. Welcome to the pub, by the way!

Hello, everyone!
I’m looking for an old PC game from my childhood, but I haven’t been able to find it for years. I’d appreciate any help you can offer, whether it’s through your own knowledge or by sharing this message with other collectors or gaming communities.
Here’s what I remember about the game:
It’s a PC game I played in the early 2000s, likely on Windows XP.
The setting was inside a prison or dark dungeon-like environment.
The main menu displayed a prison-themed scoreboard with cages, which added to the atmosphere.
After completing levels, balloons would appear in a small room, possibly as a reward or completion indicator.
The game might have been a platformer or action-oriented with some puzzle elements, but my memory is a bit unclear on that point.
If anyone here knows what game this might be or has any leads, I would be incredibly grateful for your help. Also, if it’s not too much trouble, feel free to share this message across other forums or with passionate collectors. This would save me from posting it in multiple places myself.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

yoyo1990 - I just keep thinking of old pc games like "Genocide" and "Blackthorne", but they don't really fit your description besides being dark and having prisons/dungeons. I also thought of Lode Runner, but that's reaching.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I really appreciate the response.
I'm still actively searching for the game and any help or ideas would be incredibly valuable to me. If anyone has any memories or suggestions about a prison-themed game that matches my description, please don't hesitate to share. I would be extremely grateful for any leads that could help me find it!
Thanks again for your time and support

Hello everyone,
I would like to provide an update regarding the game I am looking for. It was a brick-breaking or Tetris-style game that I played on a PC (probably Windows XP) in the late 90s or early 2000s. Here are some more details:
Score Menu: The high score menu depicted a dark room, with prison cages in the background.
Completed Levels: When you completed a level, a prison was displayed, and balloons flew on the screen.
I'm continuing to research this game and I hope these new details mean something to you. If you have any idea what game this is, please feel free to share any information or suggestions!
Thanks again for your help!
