Monolith put out this video yesterday:
Combined with the recent influx of music posted for Xenogears on the Square Enix music channel, I have a feeling a lot is planned for 2025. Needless to say, but this video had me feeling nostalgic. I'm excited to see what's next.

They are the side of Nintendo that helped Breath Of The Wild be much better, without them we would not had such a revolutionary game, and the same goes with Tears Of The Kingdom.

Maybe the audio mix will be better this time. I'm interested to see if they'll have made some quality of life tweaks about the things that put me off the last time.

Maybe the audio mix will be better this time. I'm interested to see if they'll have made some quality of life tweaks about the things that put me off the last time.
I just saw the announcement. Of course, this will be a day 1 purchase for me. That last segment tells me that they are continuing the story. I'm a bit surprised that we have to wait until March for the game. I guess it doesn't matter, though, because I've waited this long. As for the quality of life tweaks, I'm hoping they fix the font size on the screen. That was my only gripe about the game. It would be cool if they expand upon the Skell customization as well. I've missed exploring Mira, and I can't wait to return! |

Heh, yes. I was kidding a bit, but it was one of those things that was a bit puzzling about XBCX for me. In some ways, the series has been pretty great about respecting time. Quick repawns after death, letting you change time of day for dependant events (though setting the weather would be nice too), but that was one of the ones that felt just the opposite. It doesn't feel like it would take much to fix though. I get why it's nice to see party members around NLA doing their thing, but all it would take is a message saying: "This quest requires Y person. Do you want to add them to your party now?"
But I'm hoping a decade of feedback, and all the extra experience from XBC2, 3, Torna, and the remake of 1 will help them polish up X.
