Just like Hugo Chavez was great for Venezuela . Sanders is a false prophet. If he doesn't pull his endorsement from Hillary since her speeches to Wall Street have been released (thanks to Wikileaks), he believes in nothing he says. The only reason why I think he wants Clinton to win is because he rather wants the Democrats to him than Trump. And yet, you don't see John McCain and others do that for their Republican candidate. I agree with scipioafricanus. Sanders should stand for his principles (if he has any).

The only reason why I think he wants Clinton to win is because he rather wants the Democrats to him than Trump. Yeah, I believe this as well. Which speaks well about him because he knows he got cheat on and yet he puts his ego aside and goes for whatever he believes is less damaging to his views. In this case Hilary's political positions are less damaging to his views. This is not what he wants I'm sure but he puts first what's less damaging to the kind of country he wants according to his own views. What you guys don't get is that he never had any chances to win just like Ron Paul in 2012 never did because of the reasons I mentioned in January. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if both actually won by far because according to the rallies that's what was obvious. Neither Romney for Paul or Hilary for Sanders had even 5% of the quantity of followers Paul and Sanders had at the rallies, not even 5%. The paradox is that if they play half-ass and hold on to communicate their policies until they get elected then no one votes for them because people won't be able to see the passion behind their beliefs and it would just look incongruent so people would not trust them. On the other hand when they communicate their policies even if they win and everyone votes for them, they still lose their chances because the forces in power would not allow those kind of political plans to even get close to have the possibility to get implemented. The fact that both got all the way to the primaries is impressive, the earlier they can stop those kind of candidates the less risk the forces in power take. If someone passes the primaries, it just gets harder and harder to make it stop, and that's how I believe presidential assassinations like that of Kennedy and Lincoln come to be. I feel that's exactly what happened to Rand Paul (the son of Ron) in this election. He tried to play their political game and then bite them in the ass once he got elected but because of that people did not backed him up because he just didn't look passioned enough and came up incongruent because of his obvious lack of transparency. Trump on the other hand talks about things that are not threatening to the forces in power, but the truth is no one knows what he is really up to because he doesn't communicate well about his policies, so I'm sure the forces in power are very skeptical, however it is also likely that maybe he is not hidding anything and just doesn't have a real plan beyond things that could benefit his status, in which case he could win, but you never know if they will take that risk because no one really knows what he is really thinking, one can just guess. It is strange that is working for him but somehow he has pulled it off until now. So it is a rare case because of that.

Not saying he's in the right for promoting Clinton, but it suits him better to want his own party win over the other. Won't you agree on that it suits the democratic party better in general to do so?

Actually, Sanders is an independent. But I'll agree that Clinton is probably better for the Democratic Party. It's why they rigged the primaries in her favor, after all.

Clinton is the best candidate for the system in power overall, more than any other candidate because she is someone they can trust and she will do no harm to anything established. It doesn't mean she is the best candidate, what happens is that when you have candidates like Ron Paul back in 2012 for the Republican party or Bernie Sanders in 2016 for the Democrat party, defying fundamental principles of the system in power, candidates like Clinton or Romney are the ones that ultimately will get supported from the forces in power because they are not a treat, whether Republican or Democrat, it doesn't matter. I keep saying that just like I said it on January because I know those are things that are not going to change. It is almost impossible.

You can go ahead and judge our government and by all means go ahead. But until you have lived here you can't really say whether its a good place to live or not. America has many flaws but it could be worse. I bet this election will decide the fate of america for years to come and frankly I dont like either candidate.

Nah, I doubt this election would change anything significant. People that can bring drastic changes don't make it that far.

Final debate behind us and now the hubbub seems to be about Trump's "rigged election" remarks. Once again, gotta ask: does anyone care or is it just the reporters latching on to something they think will get them views?

Well it is rigged. Ask the Bernie supporters, and, with the recent Wiki Leaks stuff, voter fraud does exist. Paging Eric Holder.
