In fact, America has so much influence and so many fingers in so many pies around the world, I think people OUTSIDE the US should have a say and vote on the next president.

What's the point in voting if all of the choices are morons? To maintain the illusion of democracy in order to placate the plebeians, in a country with the largest amount of lobbyists representing corporations that pay billions of dollars into the government every year the common citizenry is told from an early age to believe that they somehow have a say in the government that rules over them if they follow the prescripted words of various actors who speak on formalized "issues of the day" then at a specified date go to a place where they press a button or punch a dot in a piece of paper to make a symbolic choice. Then of course if this fails and the plebs become restless they are allowed to write ineffectual letters to their chosen actor, create petitions to be signed by other plebs which then get tossed in a pile, and of course gather at designated places and times to be corralled like livestock as they protest socially engineered injustices perpetuated with intent. The scope of this great system of deceptions and distractions designed to placate the general public while business as usual continues behind the scenes is truly something to behold, especially considering how it's design and refinement is based on literally thousands of years of trial and error. And so concludes my rant which will undoubtedly be labeled the ravings of a tinfoil hat wearing conspiretard as is the properly scripted dismissal as defined by the system, we now return to your regularly scheduled programming.  |
