Yeah they are pretty similar in design teddykongcountry. It's if MS continued the evolution. Sega and Xbox has always had the best controllers. Well, I would say there is something to that, considering the best controller ever made is in my opinion the DS4 which was designed by Bungie, the same ones responsible for developing Xbox exclusives such as Halo.

I'd say Sony was the competitor to have done it, but yeah, the Yakuza team messed up big time to get there.
I was never too bummed by what happened to SEGA, though, they're still around, and chances are their design philosophies would have changed to what we have nowadays anyway. I just really, really hope something bad happens to Sony so the system that comes after Neo looks attractive (sorry Neo, I already know I won't buy you).

Why do you wish for something bad to happen to a company? It sounds like he is a believer in the whole Strauss Zelnick philosophy that if you purposely fail a gen the the next gen comeback will be much stronger.

Well in many ways the Wii was just a dust collector, and Nintendo has just had their worst gen yet. Who knows what will happen with the NX.

C'mon guys, I wouldn't use some messed up theory like that (not that I checked it to know further). It's just that in Sony's history the best moments to consume their products is right after they come back from bad or awkward situations. During the Ps2 era they were doing great even though I question the quality of the console itself, what came after was the Ps3 and it started out the "race" losing against the 360 (and Wii); that initial loss led Sony to develop more consumer friendly politics and work a little harder to bring great experiences to the Ps3, and in the end I'm certain that owning only a Ps3 this gen is slightly more interesting than owning only a 360. Right now Sony is coming from a series of victories: Ps3 did great in the end, the WiiU sank right after setting sail - its generation will end before the Ps3 one does - and the XboxOne was a class in bad marketing AND lackluster partnerships. Anyone could see the result from miles away: a console released in 2013 to receive its first notable game in 2015 (here's hoping you did like the Souls games...). To make it worse they're going to try and fix the rushed release by releasing a system that actually sounds like a sucessor, but while the Ps4 shares a lot of games with the weaker Ps3, Neo will also share games with the vastly inferior Ps4 unfortunately. So... Uh... I'm not expecting this to get good anytime soon, specially after consumers took the wrong step of rushing to buy the Ps4; that's why I think only something really bad can fix things now. Truly they weren't lying by saying Greatness Awaits! It has been waiting for a long while.

I wonder if NX will give me those vibes or if I will consider it a Saturn. In respect with the Wii at least with me, I still play it a lot. I had people over yesterday and we were having a blast with Crossbow Training.

I notice that of all of the options listed, "Piracy" is not one of them.
The fact of the matter is, Dreamcast Games were incredibly easy to copy and the fact that it came out just as the age of broadband internet was rising to become what it would for years to come did not help.

You forgot to add the option "I don't care" because I couldn't care less about the Dreamtrash. IMO it's the most overrated system of all time and has one of the worst controllers of any 5th gen-present console. I have nothing against Sega and I think they made two excellent consoles that I loved (Genesis and Saturn), but the Dreamcast doesn't interest me at all, and it certainly doesn't live up to the legendary status the gaming community has given it.

It is interesting because as of right now Nintendo has so much cash that they could buy Sony more than once if they want to, and that includes all their branches, music, PlayStation, movies, electronics, etc.. You exaggerate like 10 times in every single post.

You exaggerate like 10 times in every single post. I get that a lot but the only reason I said that is because my friend Romein likes to watch the stock market because he believes he is going to get rich investing in some shit called Bitcom which is some kind of fake online money. Well the thing is that he named Sony at 17 billion, and while Nintendo was only 18.4 billion, they grew almost reaching 30 billion in the last 3 weeks. So technically you are right. I did exaggerate when saying more than once. My bad. I was in lust trying to make a point. However that's still nothing compared to the staggering 70 billion Microsoft keeps in the bank. What I also found interesting is that in the last period 78% of the entire Sony's revenue came from PlayStation which to me is crazy since PlayStation used to be their smallest branch.

Sony should really cut down on their other products like TVs and computers.

Sony should really cut down on their other products like TVs and computers. They're no are longer doing Vaio. The last model was that one from the holidays. It will pass just like Trinitron and Wega. All they have now is Bravia and their portable Walkman stuff, then probably VR.

Meh... Piracy could have been a factor if it was widespread. Piracy is reason the Playstation systems did well in Brazil.

The 6th gen of consoles where pretty much the last piracy heavy generation when I think about it.
