It's aight. I almost drowned today and I got to play a stellar role in what has to be a recreation of one of the most boring episodes of Baywatch. This was me after I got out of the water. As a side note creating a thread on the mobile app of this site is ass.

Yup, I decided to go for a swim even though the safeguard had a red warning flag in his booth, then as I was happily swiming a current started pulling me in. Before I noticed I was waaaay too deep inside the ocean and I had no way of getting out. Eventually the safeguard came and pulled me out, it was sort of embarrassing.

Acapulco is very famous amongst brazilians because of some funny episodes from El Chavo del Ocho and Chapulin Colorado (which received good dubbings here and are held in very high regard by basically everyone). Well, that's all I know about it.

I didn't know El Chavo del 8 was transmitted in Brazil.
Then again I heard it aired all the way to Japan ._.

Chaves was crazy popular around here and still remains known. I'd argue that it was more popular than Saint Seiya during their respective peaks of interest.

Guilion - It was an absolute phenomenon over here in the 80s and 90s, and if you reference any line from the series it's guaranteed that people (at least 20+ y.o.) will get the reference and laugh. I do think that both El Chavo and Chapulin are more intelligent than people usually give them credit for (there's a lot of soul behind the slapstick humour) and totally deserve the praise.
