I don't have a massive collection, so I don't really have a need to downsize.
The only game I've sold that wasn't a double was Mario Party on the N64. None of my friends or family are into retro, so I was left to enjoy the original Mario Party as a single player experience. Needless to say, it was so unfun, that it was better of in the hands of someone with actual friends.
I sold it boxed and complete for 30 dollars back in 2013. The cart only goes for more than that now, but I made a 1000% profit compared to what I paid for it.

Where did you find it? At a garage sale?
I once owned about 11 consoles and 2 handhelds and numerous games for them, but I soon realized that I had way too much gaming related stuff, so I sold my genesis, SNES, NES, saturn, Dreamcast and PS2 on Ebay, something I actually regret doing. I think it's kind of wrong to ship delicate consoles across the country, knowing there's always a possibility it could get damaged during transport. I really wish I would have sold them at my local media shop, where they would've been less likely to get damaged.

I did....once....it was a dark, dark day. It was around 2007....I had been PC gaming for a while. (My first console was a 2600, then an NES, then a Genesis, but my uncle got me into building computers at a young age) My last console before my BIG pc gaming phase was the Dreamcast. Anywho, I had played an Xbox 360 at a buddies on an HD tv (back when those were new...well new to me) and I wanted one so bad. I traded in 2 NES, 2 SNES, a gameboy, gameboy color, now that I think about it...the only things I kept were my Sega Genesis and Dreamcast! I could'nt find it in my heart to get rid of those. So yeah, traded all my old stuff in for a 360. Now, after the retro game market has exploded and I am feeling nostalgic for all my old stuff....I'm kicking the hell out of myself. Thankfully though, as the years went by, I gradually reclaimed alot of my old stock. But still...what a waste!

Where did you find it? At a garage sale? Actually yes. Around 2010 I was at a Garage sale with my grandmother. She kept trying to tell me that 3 dollars was too expensive for a complete in box MP1. Funny in retrospect.

Finally someone is using the poll system. I can never bring myself so sell my games. It goes against my nature and it just feels wrong. I've only ever sold 2 games which was The Witcher 2 and Prototype (both for the 360), didn't like them that much and got some money out of them. I only collect, never sell.

I never sell my games. Even if I don't like a game, I keep it in my collection to protect others and to remind myself to not make the same mistake again.

Ugh, I used to. Lots of them that I wish I didn't part with later on.
I guess my answer for the poll since it's a simple yes or no, would be no since I haven't sold any of my games in years.

No way, the crappy ones are fun to have just to show off.

I have yet to actually sell a game. Until about 2004, the only time I lost a game was because it had been stolen from me. Since then, I only part with games when I'm assembling a care package of sorts for someone in need of some classic gaming. When I gave my cousin an NES (even though he insisted on paying me), I gave Rescue Rangers, Mario 3, Dr. Mario, Life Force, Kirby's Adventure, and a couple other games I can't quite remember.

As I'm buying a house at the moment, I need to shed some games since I need some cash.
Anyone want to buy anything?

I'm planning to sell some of my old PC games very soon. Anyone up for a copy of the original Quake + expansions, or a copy of Diablo 1 or 2 (plus expansions)?
