In the scenario Sony buys all the IPs. I would say they should be kept with Japanese devs, taking away the Japanese aspect of those IPs will ruin their reputation like Sonic Boom.
In my opinion I would say Castlevania should go to From Software, Bloodborne is proof of that.
They can also do Zone Of The Enders. They do Armored Core so they should be good.
Contra can go to Platinum, Vanquish is definitely a solid example of that.
Although if they are going to make spin-offs of Metal Gear, I would say Revengeance was a game I really liked by them.
Then Silent Hill give it to Japan Studio. I feel what they do with Siren is worth it. Silent Hill is supposed to have gameplay, so that would be a good option.
I would not want to see Silent Hill turn into one of those movie games like Beyond Two Souls, it would just not fit the legacy style of the series.
Then make Atlus work on Dance Dance Revolution, they already have experience with Persona Dancing All Night so they should be fine.
Let Namco work on Frogger and Bomberman.
Taito can work on Gradius and Star Soldier.
Tecmo can have Bloody Roar and Rumble Roses.
I guess work with Square Enix for Suikoden.
Give Enthusia to Polyphony of course. Although they could also do Zone Of The Enders considering their amazing Omega Boost.
Sell Yu-Gi-Oh! to Nintendo.
But leave PES to Konami. They still do an amazing job with those.

Sure, Sony can buy it. Then they give creative control to Kojima; the ultimate FU Konami.

Wait, why are we talking about people buying out Konami? Is Konami not doing well financially?

Nah, they are doing fine. It is just one of those what if type of scenarios. Plus they still do awesome games, everyone is giving 9.5 and above to the new PES, while FIFA even with their new story mode people don't give it pass 8.4, the gameplay still sucks for FIFA no matter how many licenses EA has, it still plays as if it was aimed to children.

Ahh ok then. This thread made it sound like they are in the same position financially as Capcom currently is....

Capcom is alright, Resident Evil and Street Fighter are keeping them afloat. E-Sports are big for them, they even get featured on mainstream ESPN. A few low quarters are no damaging enough for a company that big.
The only problem I see is that they are betting a lot on VR, and VR is only starting out, it is going to take years for that technology to grow, we are basically in year 1 when it comes to VR, we are in the Atari 2600 / Vectrex era with Battlezone and the like.
They don't have arcades like Sega, or Casinos like Konami, neither they have as many licenses as Namco, or a mobile department like Square Enix. They may need to start diversifying because two IPS alone are not going to cut it if they want to expand.
Mega Man has been dormant for awhile now, it is time to awake it, but their business needs to grow beyond that for future proof. Nintendo is doing it and they own hardware, Capcom needs to step up their game.
