So I remember hearing about a game compilation Valve was planning on releasing some time back called "Black Box", which would've contained Half Life 2 Episodes 1 & 2 and would've sold for a fraction of the price of Orange Box.
Well, you wanna know what I think they should've done instead? IMO they should have made Black Box a collection disc of all their multiplayer titles (sans TF2, since it was included in Orange Box) PLUS Garry's Mod and released it for PC and Xbox 360, with full 4-player split-screen support & LAN support for the multiplayer games. So basically, it would contain Counter Strike Source, L4D 1 & 2, Half Life 2 Death Match, and Garry's Mod, all with complete local multiplayer support.
I just orgasmed at the thought of it. -o-
What do you guys think? Awesome deal? Or awesome deal?

That would have been awesome, especially since not all of those games are available on consoles.

Balder Hell yeah! And thank you for moving the thread. In all honesty Counter Strike Source is one of the best first person shooters I've ever played, and considering the Xbox port of CS Classic was a big disappointment (mainly for excluding split-screen support), console gamers deserved to have the best version of Counter Strike available to them. Valve doesn't seem to know how to make split-screen work, though.

I also do remember Portal 2 being a great splitscreen experience. When I played it, it was not even oficially supported and you had to enter a bunch of console commands to make it work; I think they oficially included it later.
