The DS lite can play GBA games with a backlight screen, which is more than worth the price for anyone who has always wanted a Gameboy SP but never bought one back in the day.

Fair point about that as well Spirit Bomb. I like my SP, but the DS (and DS Lite in particular) are more comfortable in my hands for longer gaming sessions. It might lack the GB and GBC backwards compatibility, but it does feature a proper headphone jack. Actually that reminds me of this person who re-purposes broken DS lower halves into custom "Game Boy Macros" gameboymacro.com/I'd still probably prefer my back-lit modded original GBA model, but these are quite pretty. |
