I wonder what the demographics are for the regional differences in calling it snakes and ladders or chutes and ladders. A quick Google search says that Chutes and Ladders is an American name, while Snakes and Ladders was from India and England.

I wonder what the demographics are for the regional differences in calling it snakes and ladders or chutes and ladders. A quick Google search says that Chutes and Ladders is an American name, while Snakes and Ladders was from India and England. In Norway it's simply called The Ladder Game. |
