It's that time of the year again where we (or at least I) celebrate the old classics by playing games from my childhood. So if you haven't heard of it before: look through your childhood classics and pick out some of them you want to play this month, stop worrying about new releases and go back and play them classics. You can also choose classics you missed like I'm going to do this year.
This year I haven't chosen so many since all my exams are in this month:
Rayman [PS1] (Do this baby every year) Crash Bandicoot 2 [PS1] (I got this game not too long ago, played it at my best friend's house all the time) Dynasty Warriors 5 + XL [PS2] (Usually play at one Dynasty Warriors game each year, haven't played the 5th in many years) God of War I and maybe II [PS3 HD] (just a classic I missed] Ninja Gaiden Black [Xbox] (remember almost beating this one, but I'm going back at it this year]
So what are your plans for this month?

Games from MY childhood? Not possible due to a lack of working hardware.
But if you're talking just games I've had for a long time, I've been playing a lot of my old games, actually. I've been playing the PSP with games like Field Commander, Siphon Filter: Dark Mirror, Wipeout Pulse, Thexder Neo and Valkyria Chronicles 2.
For the PC, I've reinstalled Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. Hmm, now that I mention it, I still have it's spiritual parent, Total Annihilation.

I still haven't finished Super Mario World on my classic Wii. I have it 100% on my Wii U and PC, so I'll finish that one. I will likely start Mega Man X after that, also using my Nintendo Club Wii Super Famicom controller.

So if you haven't heard of it before... How could we not have heard of it? You bring it up every damn November.

I grabbed Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles when it was on sale on the PSN this week.
This is a PSP remake of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood from 2007 that has the original game as an unlockable bonus, as well as Symphony of the Night. It looks pretty nice on the Vita screen.

Sounds awesome. Haven't played Rondo of Blood, but SOTN is amazing.

Balder Imperial Khador Don't expect the corny acting from the original SotN. For the scene where Belmont meets Dracula (opening for SotN & near the end in DracXChronicles), they replaced the voice actors with new lines. No more "What is a man but a miserable pile of secrets? Have at thee!" but "Mankind! A cesspit of hatred and lies! Fight for them then and die for their sins!" Regardless, this game some excellent music, a boss rush and a level from the original completely redesigned with an entirely new boss. Enjoy.

I still have Symphony of the Night standalone if I crave some cheesy voice acting

I just remember the NES Classic is out this month, that solves this.

It has been quite sometime since i've played MGS2, and that one is definitely a classic for me. I'd play a horror game, but the current environment of my house isn't suited for a horror game.
