NES Marathon on TwitchOn right now, currently with NES commercials from back in the day. Good content for a good cause. Pat the NES Punk and Ian play the games you remember. (I remember the commercials, but was a Sega kid.)

I can't find a NES Classic, it looks they are gone. It's a shame because I'm not willing to pay reselling prices. Not for the cost, but for principle.

Why don't just get the real thing? ...Because I want the NES Classic. What kind of question is that? Does the original NES have HDMI out? Does it come with 30 games? Is it only 60 bucks? These are examples of good questions. Take notes, you might learn something. |

In terms of charity marathons going on right now, I'd like to point out Desert Bus for Hope 10, where they play the Desert Bus game from Pen and Teller's Smoke and Mirrors for a week (give or take) for Child's Play. Over the years, it has turned into more of a proper telethon, rather than just a game marathon. Not everything is gold, but it usually keeps me amused enough that I'll have it on in the background most of the time while it is going on. |
