Hey all, I figured we could use a thread for any and all literature concerned with our gaming hobby.
Outside of my missing Nintendo Power issues and the countless Game Informers previously clogging up my shelves, I've acquired two standout pieces for my reading pleasure:
1. Dragon Quest Illustrations by Akira Toriyama
As many of you are aware, I am an avid Dragon Quest fan and to see this massive compilation of illustrations throughout the core series and its spinoffs immediately enticed me to buy it. It is in Japanese only but this compilation boasts the utmost illustrative quality and is sure to appease any longtime fan of the series.
2. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Legendary Edition
While many are quick to dismiss Ocarina of Time as 'overrated' and 'underwhelming,' I have respected the title for the sense of grandeur and adventure it allotted to players and its impact on the industry as a whole. That sense of adventure translates surprisingly well into a manga format especially when the authors take creative liberties to spruce things up by making appropriate changes that don't severely compromise the integrity of the source material. This comic book is quite literally a book and spans the entirety of the core Ocarina of Time storyline with bonus material and has me very excited for the next release in the series: Oracle of Seasons and Ages.
What unique gaming literature have you amassed and perused in your time as game enthusiasts?

Those look really nice. I'm a big fan of Dagon Ball Z and Zelda. I still haven't tried Dragon Quest, but I recognize it as one of the biggest game franchises on the planet.
Every time I see that guy that looks like Link I always wondered if the series was influenced at some point by Zelda. I ask myself the same question about Rogue Galaxy as I get the same vibe there too.
Nice reviews, thanks for sharing. It is nice to have English translation for these things. A lot of cool publications don't get the translation so they end up getting lost for us.

Have you tried Dragon Quest Heroes out? If you like 3D hack and slash, the game has surprisingly deep yet user-friendly mechanics while letting you wallop on boatloads of Dragon Quest monsters.
Which guy from Dragon Quest looks like Link? To me, they look inseparable from Dragon Ball animations which is a barrier I've tried to isolate myself from.
Thanks for checking out my videos! It would be nice to see more literature that relates to games since we already invest ourselves so heavily in the worlds of video game characters.

I haven't tried Dragon Quest Heroes yet, but I had been meaning to do it as I enjoy those kind of games.
The one I refer to is the one that looks like the guy from Dark Cloud.
