It seems like the ColecoVision was like Sega in the early 80s. The add ons to that machine makes it look like a beast.

I remember how the Genesis was mind blowing when compared to the NES.
I imagine players from that generation were blown away coming from Pong to that.
Those were truly innovative times.

I really like the modular set up. Buy only what you want, and move on from there. I was too young to enjoy a ColecoVision, so I have no idea as to whether or not people were into it. It seems like it came out at the wrong time in video gaming history. |
