I think we had this topic on the older forum, let's bring it back.
For me I would like to see a The Sims kind of game mixed with Yakuza where you can build your house, a whole city, a whole suburb area, and even dedicated areas like theme parks, malls, casinos, nightclubs, arcades, pachinko parlors, tunnel high-ways, metro subways, bridges, monuments, high-speed elevated rail tracks, red light districts, beach resources, and separate small islands.
Then explore everything you made on VR, even ride your rollercoaster, play bowling, classic arcade games, air hockey, foosball, mini-golf, hoops, go-karts, skee ball, etc..
To make the game popular I would include WooHoo as that sells with the female gamers, and if they want to sell the game more, I would include easy to make celebs profiles such as Katy Perry or Taylor Swift.
Also I would hire Tiësto, Deadmou5, Ex-Swedish House Mafia members, and the like, for the soundtracks, and then make them available for EDC simulators.
The money is on being able to make it to your own taste with easy to use tools and stuff. I can see them charging for personalized add-ons and make this a very profitable project.
VR is a technology that makes me appreciate game genres that otherwise would bore me, and I would definitely enjoy something like that for VR.
What are your ideas for a new game?

To be fair Rum & Coke could get used as an idea for a game.
Maybe a modern version of Cool Spot or at least one of those Game & Wario mini games.

One of my friends actually tried to order this at Hard Rock Cafe in Poland, unfortunately they didn't have every ingredient needed in stock to make it.

Ethel: The Cyborg Ninja as a Metal Gear Rising clone. It's a match made in heaven.

Mobile games will definitely take off as cellphones will now have HDMI capabilities and after that, when Mirroring technology progresses, digital media, and with the advancement of Bluetooth technology it is basically game over as they can also do VR.

For a while now I've wanted to see a game with an open world setting that's a 100% 3D replica of Earth. I'd love to explore all the woods in my county, but I'm too fucking lazy to actually do so, so this game would be perfect for me. I'm sure a game like that would cause some controversies though, probably because there would be privacy concerns, since the game would feature 3D maps of people's property. IDK I still think it could work.

But what I would like to see are reconstructed historical places and scenes: like going to a gladiator fight in the Colosseum, walking on the streets of Babylon at its high, visiting places from classical-period Greece... Or visiting Jerusalem during the Crusades. Deus vult! Where is Guilion ?
