The Godfather 1901-1980 is the definitive version. 10 hours long, all cut into chronological order with extra/extended scenes. Someone soiled parts 1 and 2 with scenes from Part 3? Bad! |

Someone soiled parts 1 and 2 with scenes from Part 3? Bad! 3 had some very bad parts, I agree. And all of those had to do with Sophia Coppola. It's a shame that she was cast. However, it also has some really solid moments like the ending and the hotel shootout. And Anthony Corleone has a pretty solid performance. It marks the end of Michael Corleone, and it does so beautifully. Have you watched it recently? Try having another watch with a fresh perspective and try to overcome Sophia. |

It seems like this has gone nowhere. Last I checked, they stopped working on this for the Equalizer 2. Maybe it was for the better.

The Pacino Scarface is damn near at the cream of the crop of gangster movies, so what could a remake say or do that the Pacino one didn’t? Besides we’re getting a new Scorsese mafia movie and a Soprano’s prequel so we’re going to be up to out asses in quality mob movies pretty soon. |
