In light of this new topic the thread has changed to:
I enjoyed Rogue Agent on Xbox but sadly my Xbox died before I could get very far into it and I don't have it for PS2 or GameCube and I haven't tried it on Xbox 360 yet though I've heard it's one of the chosen few Microsoft bothered adding compatibility for, so maybe I'll give it another go someday.
I didn't think I'd like it when I first got it, seeing as I despise GoldenEye 007 on Nintendo 64 (somehow they made the reboot on Wii even worse, it's astonishing how bad that game is), so several years went by before I actually played it, only after having seen a video on youtube about it where the guy playing was talking about how it sucked because it wasn't like the Nintendo 64 game, how it was too different and didn't live up to the name of GoldenEye and other such things I considered to be positives rather than negatives, so I thought to myself as I was looking at the gameplay footage; "I like the visual style in this, it looks cool. I think it looks rather enjoyable, and not being like a bad N64 game is not a bad thing at all, quite the contrary, if it's that unlike GoldenEye on N64 it may actually have a chance of being really good. Well, I guess that settles it, I should give it a shot. If it's that different I may just like it after all.".
Shortly thereafter I digged out my copy from the darkest depths of where shitty games I don't care for go, tried it out and thought it was pretty good, maybe not great and not as good as other proper great shooters, but the youtuber was right about how it was wildly different to GoldenEye on N64 at least, except for me that meant infinitely better in every conceivable way, so yeah, I liked it, but I decided to leave it for a future playthrough as I was busy playing other games at the time and hadn't planned on adding this title to my current playlist yet.
I got the GoldeEye reboot for Wii not long ago, after having heard it was supposedly very good I gave it a shot too.. yeah, that was complete bullshit as it was one of the worst shooters I've ever played, even somehow worse than the N64 original, but it did remind me of how good Rogue Agent was despite being a GoldenEye game, so coincidentally it's been on my mind lately even before this thread decided to go off the rails, and if I can find where I put the damn thing I'd like to play it again soon.

Goldeneye: Rogue Agent. At last, a game I have in common with you people. Shame we couldn't get a deathmatch set up.

Holy cow, you guys have played Rogue Agent too?? I'm glad that people other than myself played and enjoyed the game as well. I never would have guessed that anyone else on this forum has played it, since no one ever really talks about it anymore (heck, even back in the day most people didn't play it, and it faded into obscurity pretty quickly).
Sadly I've never tried the game's multiplayer, which is often cited as its strongest point, and what people remember most fondly about it.
@armored Core Raven The Xbox version is unquestionably the best version, but the other versions are perfectly acceptable as well. I played it on PS2 before I played it on Xbox and the only major differences were the framerate and the loading times, which were both faster on Xbox. I've watched gameplay footage of the GC version and it seems to have an even better framerate than the Xbox version, albeit with compressed graphics for the single player mode (the multiplayer was featured on a separate disc with no graphical compression). If I were you I'd just play it on the 360 for the time being.

I even had a friend come over and try to beat it and he could not get past it either. So eventually I just said screw it and looked up the ending. I remember on the last mission they have these enemies that shoot at you with guns that if they hit you with them they cause you to disenegrate. It doesn't matter how much armor and health you have left they hit you with that gun your dead. Now if you got quick reflexes you might be able to dodge them since they come in slowly when shot at you but only if your quick. The multiplayer was fun you and you could activate traps although I could always look at there screen and see when they were planning on doing that. It was also cool how you could dual wield weapons on the game. Dual P-90's or dual Jackal .357's or other weapon combo's.

I'm playing it now on Xbox 360, having fun dual wielding machine guns atm, it looks great, runs smoothly, I like the story/plot so far and it's better than I remembered because I had forgotten about the separate dual wielding abilities and goldeneye superpowers.

I'm amazed you guys like that game and I'm happy at the same time. I would say all games deserve some love. The game wasn't for me, even the Daniel Craig GoldenEye resonated more to me, I guess it's because I had my expectations all over the place with Rogue One after the other EA games while I never really expect much from Activision.
Being the villain is something that would normally excite me, I like indoors shooters better as well, and it is a James Bond game after all, but somehow I never felt any of those things while playing it. Maybe it was getting the PS2 copy version instead of the GameCube one as opposed of the others before it that I got on the GameCube, or maybe I simply was too critical back then, although I remember really wanting to like it.

Cervantes : "Most important Dreamcast games can be found elsewhere?" Sword of the Berserk Guts' Rage? Nope. Red Dog Superior Firepower? Nope. Gundam Side Story 0079 Rise from the Ashes? Nope. Psychic Force 2012? Nope. Metropolis Street Racer? Nope. Spawn in the Demon's Hand? Nope. Shenmue? Nope. OutTrigger? Nope. Buggy Heat? Nope. AeroWings 2 Air Strike? Nope. Record of Lodoss War? Nope. Super Runabout? Nope. SoulCalibur? Nope. Zombie Revenge? Nope. Super Magnetic Neo? Nope. D2? Nope. Daytona USA 2001? Nope. Demolition Racer No Exit? Nope. Frame Gride? Nope. Toy Commander? Nope. Zero Gunner 2? Nope. Virtua Fighter 3tb? Nope. I noticed my mistake as soon as I hit "Create Post". I guess I was thinking about the games rereleased on PS2/GC, the games on PC and the HD rereleases (like Jet Set, Sonic Adventure, Space Channel etc.). But you're absolutely right, not even Shenmue was ported and that's a major one. D2 is also a very great survival horror that remains exclusive to this day, and you didn't even got to mention the minor ones like Blue Stinger, Fighting Vipers 2, Segagaga and Cannon Spike. Also, isn't Maken X an exclusive? That's a great game.

And that last level is indeed very hard. Talk about difficulty spike! Somehow I managed to get through it on normal setting, and although I nearly had a stroke out of frustration, it was still a great time. Gonna try it on the hard difficulty level one of these days.
