Scratch my previous post, "Too Legit to Quit" is my hardest and my favorite achievement. It is to reach Gen 10 in Titanfall (basically the prestige system from CoD, but with a twist). Each to you regen (prestige), you must not only have to get to lvl 50, but you have to do regen challenges (some of which are extremely difficult, like getting 75 critical hits with the Plasma Railgun aka the worst gun in the game, 5 gooser kills, again extremely unlikely, being MVP in a 100 games, winning 100 games, 25 executions with all of the titans). It wouldn't be so bad if your stats on all the challenges reset every time you regen. So you start out with a clean slate at every generation. You could cheat by buying a "forged certification" which means you can bypass one of the challenges, however, this voids the achievement. So no fucking around on this one. Too bad TF2 doesn't have this system because you felt like a god if you were playing with a Gen 10 player. In TF2 you only have to play a lot to gain XP, no challenges there.

GT5 plat is next to impossible with a racing wheel, and impossible with a controller. Once i have enough money in the summer, i'm definitely playing through the GT games. The amount of skill required for GT5 plat is unprecedented. You cannot longer get the GT5 plat, they did an update that literally made it impossible. However you can still get the GT6 plat and that one is not that hard. I wonder how GT Sport will be like. By the way fsfsxii, I want to see you, Pimpjira, or anyone getting any of those plats I mentioned. They are definitely for elite players only. Balder in terms of popular mainstream western games I would say Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 and Grand Theft Auto IV are not easy plats. If you have those you are definitely good. People say Red Dead Redemption is easy, but honestly I don't see those plats often either, I may see someone with a high percentage, but not with the plat, which means there must be one trophy that is is worthwile and difficult. The same goes for Max Payne 3. |

Usually there are few players even playing these "older" games, which makes it even harder. I've also heard that the early CoD games are excruciatingly hard to complete. |

Like I said, I see a lot of people with a high percentage, but never with the plat, so that tells me most of the trophies may be quite easy except for at least one trophy that only elite players can get. I imagine it is an online one that requires skill. Black Ops 3 has an offline trophy that is also for elite players that it is called Personal Decorator, it is not even online, in fact I heard the online ones are easy, but that one offline trophy is hardcore. I still have to see anyone with the Max Payne 3 plat or with the Grand Theft Auto IV one. |

There are some people falsely saying that I don't have any trophies. I have lots of trophies, folks! Believe me. I have trophies you've never even heard of. OK? It's a lot of trophies. But these people, and I don't even want to name them. They wish I would name them, but I'm not going to give them the free publicity. But they say, "DAN E KOOL IS BAD AT GAMES." And I'm like, who are these people? Have they ever played against me? Did I maybe add them online on accident? Because I wouldn't do it on purpose. That I can tell you. I have a lot of friends online. This guy's not one of them, believe me. So he never played against me, I never added his account... and now he says I'm bad at games. Such dishonesty.

My last memory of that game is playing an endurance race in a mazda, and then running out of gas with no pitstop to refuel. it was 100 laps and i made 80 before my nephew pulled the plug. You always pick the hardest games!  |

If I'm answering seriously, then I tend to side with scipioafricanus and Armored Core Raven. I don't care about trophies or achievements. I tried to care, when I first got my PS3 and it was like, a new feature. But then so many of them got to be such a pain to get, it stopped being fun. I have other things I'd rather do than kill pigeons in GTA IV, for example. It just becomes a chore. If other people enjoy doing it, more power to them. Video games are meant to be fun. Play them however is fun for you. If I'm answering as usual, Balder is probably one of the worst gamers I know. And I know him very well. Before he was moderator, we were good friends. Now that I'm running against him, he pretends it didn't happen. That's the way it is. But he's just not a good gamer. He makes these big lists of games he's completed. Most of them aren't complete! That's very common for gamers to do. Balder does it all the time. I've been to those LAN parties. I've been around those people. I know how complete their games are. Balder has a couple Bronzes at best. Platinum? Not even close. |

fsfsxii that's awesome, that makes you privileged in the sense that you are probably in the very few that still has a shot at it. Haha, and yeah those are hard games, but any of those on that list means a lot, from you I was hoping to see The Evil Within, Devil May Cry 4 Special and maybe Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, as those are very significant. Those are extremely hard as it is and some of the others on the list are just hardcore impossible and required insane amounts of skill. Dan E. Kool hahahahaha I'm still laughing about I have trophies you never even heard of. I agree about Grand Theft Auto 4, but I still admire those that are willing to put the time in a game like that, as I know can't put myself to do it. There are some plats I do want to get eventually that are totally achievable: - Bloodborne - Dig Dug - Frogger Hyper Arcade Edition - Frogger Returns - Galaga - Galaga Legions DX - Pac-Man - Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ - Ms. Pac-Man - Nioh - Resogun Those are on the easy side, so it should be OK to get those eventually. I have some 100% such as Contra, Daytona USA, Metal Slug, Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, and Scramble, but the real trophies are in other games. Although I would love to have the skills to get Castlevania Harmony Of Despair, Capcom Arcade Cabinet, and Hard Corps Uprising, but I'm realistic and I know those are extremely hard to get. Balder you are probably right. I have not attended it myself, but with Rockstar games I can definitely see the appealing. Those games can be a lot of fun.

I've done everything in that game bar the challenges. the challenges being tough is an understatement. DMC4SE is the one i'm making progress at, was trying to finish Lady's bloody palace, but i died at Credo, stage 80, twice! |
