I love Shock Troopers, it slowly have become one of my favorite games of all time. In fact it is with no doubt the best game ever made in its specific genre as it is a little different kind of run and gun than Metal Slug or Contra, This one is more along the lines of Commando or the Ikari Warriors series. It is no surprise Mark was so impressed by it as this game is excellent.
It is interesting to mention how newer consoles feature there own platforms within their platform. On the PS3 for example the Neo-Geo Station, the Capcom Arcade Cabinet, and the Sega Vintage platforms were quite popular along with the Sega Model 2 platform that featured Dreamcast HD Remakes. I collected them all as it is nice to have instant access to all those classic games on HD. Something similar to what the Virtua Console and the WiiWare platforms are to Nintendo.
