How about you read some American novels such as Hammer and Sickle by Don DeLillo and Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau. Then we can discuss ideology again. That's a suggestion. Here's another: we send you to North Korea and you let us all know how good the Wi-Fi is over there.

Hey, is Luke Skywalker a mass murderer? "The midichlorians made me do it!"

Commie fantasy novels, not so much. It has nothing to do with Communism. It's about being a nonconformist and skeptical to governments.

The people of Venezuela are starving. The zoo animals are starving. People are hunting dogs and cats for food. Socialism is working great for them!

Well, most people don't have to resort to eating their cat here in the good ol' USA, so we got that over them.

I'm not going to claim that everything is perfect. But here in evil capitalist America, poor people can still manage to get smart phones. No one has to crap in the street unless they are total failures. We can keep the lights on. The masses are not starving. Even a jerk like me can manage to own a home and some land. Is the capitalist system perfect for everyone? No. There will always be winners and losers in any system. But I'd much rather lose in capitalist America where I can at least have a smart phone and a toilet over losing in North Korea or Venezuela where I can't even eat food and the only winners are the party bosses and the dictators.

It is often said to ve Communist even though they have no resemblances to it. Something funny I noticed about communists: they never accept any example as "real." North Korea, Soviet Union, Red China, all of these awful places that call themselves communist, but have apparently failed to do it "the right way." So I look at that, and I use my great brain and I think, If "real" communism is so difficult to do, where all of these countries have tried and failed, maybe it can't be done. Maybe a society that is completely, totally (artificially) equal is just a fantasy. Just another one of my really good thoughts. You're welcome.

Ah... American Exceptionalism at its finest. Btw I'm not saying that capitalism is inherently wrong, but as a first world country one would expect the list of things you have better than Venezuela and North Korea. I'm just asking you to look over your borders for once and not just to look for a place to contribute to a war.

I would say that the Soviet Union and China were more Communistic than North Korea ever was, for better or for worse. I'm not a fighter for Communism or Socialism (well perhaps you would call me Socialist, but my political views are considered Socialistic in Norway).
