That Battlefront II trailer looks dope as hell. EA always gets those Star Wars trailers right.

Looks fantastic, can't wait to see Luke get back on the saddle. Wish I could say the same. I recently saw a 2017 interview with Mark Hamill on Youtube, and holy crap is he fat. The last thing I want to see in Star Wars is an obese Luke Skywalker. It's especially sad for anyone who grew up with the Expanded Universe and games like Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, where post-trilogy Luke is depicted as very spry and androgenous just like he was in ROTJ. IMO it's totally unacceptable for him to be that out of shape. It's like William Shatner in the old Star Trek movies, getting progressively fatter with each film, except Shatner at least had the excuse of playing a character who didn't have to look fit, because his character (Kirk) is a mere pilot/captain and not some kind of warrior like Luke is. Talk about cringeworthy. If you look at him before VII and after you can see he has lost a lot of weight.

This is the Battlefront they should have released in the first place. That Battlefront II trailer looks dope as hell. EA always gets those Star Wars trailers right. The biggest drawback of the first Battlefront (other than the miniscule character roster) was being a multiplayer only game. The sequel remedies that somewhat with a new single player mode, but even then, it's an Imperial only campaign. While I'm personally fine with that (hawt-as Imperial commander and all...), it might still be lacking to all those Rebel wannabes out there... At least the roster is bigger now. Hope there will be a skin for Old Luke. (Say what you will, Hamill looks better than Guinness at 67)

Same. But I know I'll still end up seeing it. Have to...Oh crud! I was a bit like that and Transfomers 4: Age of Extinction. When I should have known better after seeing the first three movies, I went to see it anyway! But never again, I'm giving TF5 a miss, like I did with the Bay TMNT movies! My childhood, MY CHILDHOOD!
I really hope Episode 8 is better, but I won't be forking out money for a ticket until I read the reviews. Call me close-minded, but there.
Correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm not) but I remember the reviews for VII being really positive at first. Everyone I knew who saw it before me, loved it. And then I finally saw it and it was kinda disappointing. And now I see lots of people are feeling the same way. So the reviews could be great, and I'll go see it. And the reviews might be bad, and I'll still go see it. I really respect your resolve and wish I could do the same, but Disney's got me by the balls and I'll be seeing all of these movies in theaters. At least through the trilogy. Or anything that stars the original cast.

(Say what you will, Hamill looks better than Guinness at 67)The trailer may be great, but my expectations are very low after the disappointment of the first Dice game with the whole online only functionality like you said, the Frostbite engine looks good, but we all know it doesn't play like Fox. I would say my real high expectations are in the hands of Amy Hennig and Visceral. It is basically the ex-head of Crystal Dynamics and Naughty Dog combined with the people that made Dead Space and the awesome James Bond Game Cube era games combined to do a Star Wars campaign. That game we may not seen until 2019 just knowing Amy Hennig, but that's the one I'm really looking forward to, if it doesn't get cancelled.

Synopsis:
(SPOILERS, SO BEWARE)
Luke discovers that Yoda wasted his entire life meditating on the force(all 900 years). He tells Ray that she needs to bring Sasuke back from the dark side. But there's more: Rai and Sasuke are the reincarnations of the original force ninjitsu users, one of which was granted the powers of dark and the other who was granted the light by the gods known as the Whills, who turned themselves into trees. Only through their combined sexual tensions can they release the full power of dark and light and destroy the thing and restore the thing that they need to stop because we need new movies.
Snoak plays the film on VHS to discover where Luke is and they have a confrontation, with CGI Leia coming to her brother's aid and using her hidden force powers to destroy him once and for all.
But then after the credits we see a teaser of the Guardians of the Galaxy Avengers crash landing on a dessert planet, and they eat eclairs. Until they discover a giant Boba Fett statue. To be continued (forever)...
