Yeah, not too far from release so it's been a long time since I played it. Also played Boktai 2 and Lunar Knights. I had fun with all of them.

I'd really like to get Boktai 2 and 3 eventually. Lunar Knights is a lot of fun as well, although I don't think Kojima was involved with that one.

I love the title "the sun is in your hands!" Considering as the GBA never seemed to have the intent of being backlit, it seems a perfect fit for OG GBA holders (I take it those solar generators are storing energy you acquired playing in the sun so you can play at night?). A bit of an anomaly tech-wise in that the solar reader and internal clock could potentially be at odds with one another. It's a good looking/sounding game and your review brings out the best of Boktai.

I have a copy but the solar sensor is busted but I would love the chance to play it. Nice vid BTW.
